Dan Jajic,
Painters Business Representative

Dan Jajic is DC38’s business representative for the Painters Union Local 138. In this role, he is responsible for collective agreements, negotiation, representation, and dispatching, along with a variety of other duties for the painters.

He started in the industry as a high pressure water blaster in 1986. During his time, he served as a shop steward for five years. In 1996, Dan began working in the outdoor advertising business where he also worked as a shop steward.

In January 2006 he started as DC38’s part-time organizer for the outdoor advertising shops. In 2008, he became the full-time business representative for the painters.


Kelvin Campbell,
Drywall Tapers & Finishers Business Representative

Kelvin Campbell is DC38’s business representative for the Drywall Finishers' Union Local 2009. He is involved with a variety of different duties related to the tapers and the asbestos abatement workers, included recruiting, dispatching, and organizing training sessions.

He worked as a DC38 taper from 1977 to 1994. In 1994 Kelvin worked as the business manager for the Drywall Finishers' Union Local 2009, and in 1997 he joined DC38 as a business representative.


Marv Magnison,
Glaziers Business Representative

Marv Magnison is the business representative for Glaziers' Union Local 1527. In this position, Marv visits job sites and inside contractors around the Lower Mainland where DC38 members are working, recruits and dispatches, and takes part in collective agreements and bargaining. He also attends meetings with WorkSafeBC.

A glazier by trade, Marv began his apprenticeship in 1990 at BCIT. From there, he worked as a glazier for over 15 years before taking on the job of business representative for DC38 in 2005.


Dennis Olsen,
Lathers Business Representative

Dennis Olsen is DC38's business representative for Lathers and Allied Trades Union Local 163.

As a business representative, Dennis recruits, organizes, negotiates on behalf of the lathers.

Dennis started in the lathing field in 1972 as an apprentice. He joined DC38 as a business representative in 2006.


Taryn Hubbard,
Communications Coordinator

Taryn Hubbard is the communications coordinator at DC38. In this role, she is responsible for writing and editing content for the DC38 website, photography, and social media.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Simon Fraser University, and a Certificate in Journalism from Langara College.
