DC38 is a progressive union representing over 2,500 members in painting, glazing, drywall finishing, wall and ceiling installer, and allied trades including inside glaziers, high pressure water blasters, outdoor advertising workers, and hazardous materials abatement workers.
Our members can be found on commercial and industrial jobs all over the province and are responsible for executing some of the most complex and specialized work in the trades industry.
Since launching our new DC38 website in fall 2010, we've published stories and pictures about members in the community, important annual events for current and retired members, and members supporting the future generation of journeypersons, among others.
DC38 is on Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr in order to showcase the efforts of the Council and its members. But there's always more stories - interesting, informative, inspiring - to share. We'd like your help tuning into them.
Do you have any photos of a job you're on? Are you working on an unusual jobsite? Are you a member involved with community service or do you know another member who is? We'd like to hear about it.
We are open to all sorts of ideas; we simply want to portray our community of DC38 members through images and stories.
