The Canadian Union of Postal Workers gave 72-hour notice to legally strike as of 11:59 p.m. ET Thursday, June 2nd. In the event of a strike, DC38 members are required to pay their monthly union dues and Health & Welfare Benefit shortage notices on time during a postal strike.
Lower Mainland members:
Payments can be made in person at 7621 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC during our regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After hours, cheques or money orders can be put through the mail slot on the front entrance door.
Vancouver Island members:
Payments can be made in person at #2-802 Esquimalt Road, Victoria between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Members living in outlying areas should contact Maureen at (250) 385-8312 to discuss alternative solutions for insuring your payments are made on time.
Prince George members:
Can contact Bryon Hill at (250) 962-6951 or (250) 612-7226 to make arrangements for pick-up of payment(s). Cheque or Money Orders only.
Please do not mail your payments during the postal strike. Mail services may be delayed so your payment could arrive late.
